ICAI CA Foundation Examination Form Last Date

After registration, candidates must submit the exam form when ICAI opens the online application window. This step officially confirms your participation in that exam cycle.

ICAI also provides a short grace period for late submissions, with an additional late fee.

If you mistakenly selected the wrong medium for the exam or exam center, don’t worry—ICAI opens a correction window after the exam form submission ends.

Step-by-Step Guide to Fill CA Foundation Exam Form

Best Device for Form Filling

  • Preferably use a laptop or desktop.
  • Mobile phones can be used, but using a computer is safer and smoother.

Step 1: Visit the Official ICAI Portal

  • Open Google and search: “ICAI Self Service Portal”
  • Click on the official website link that mentions “Self Service Portal”

Step 2: Login to Your Account

  • Enter your User ID (e.g., CROxxxxxxx) and Password
  • If you’re newly registered and don’t have the final registration yet, use the temporary ID given at the time of registration

Step 3: Open the Exam Form Section

  • After login, your Dashboard will appear
  • Click on “Apply for Exam” or “Foundation Exam Form”

Step 4: Read and Accept Guidelines

  • Guidelines will appear – read if you wish, or simply:
    • Tick “I have read and agree”
    • Click “OK” to proceed

Step 5: Confirm Photo & Signature

  • You’ll be asked: Is your photo/signature as per ICAI guidelines?
    • Select “Yes” to proceed (You can update it later if needed)
  • Scroll down and continue

Step 6: Fill Academic Details

  • Enter your Class 12th Details
    • Upload 12th Marksheet or Admit Card
  • You can update this even after submitting the form, before the update deadline
  • Don’t leave it blank – at least one document (mark sheet or admit card) is required

Step 7: Choose Exam Medium

  • Select your preferred language for the exam:
    • English
    • Hindi

Step 8: Choose Exam Centre

  • Select State and Exam City based on:
    • Where you are currently living or studying
  • Example:
    • If you stay in Noida but study in Gujarat, you may choose Gujarat as your center
  • Cities will appear with a code (e.g., 12X – Rajkot). Choose carefully

Step 9: Review & Submit Form

  • Review all your filled information
  • Click on “Submit”

Step 10: Make Payment

  • Choose payment mode:
    • Net Banking
    • Credit/Debit Card
    • UPI / QR Code
  • Complete payment

Step 11: Check Payment Status

  • After payment, check your payment status on dashboard:
    • S = Successful
    • P = Pending
    • F = Failed
  • If status is Pending and amount is deducted, don’t worry – the amount will be refunded so try again to pay the amount.
  • If not, you might need to retry payment

Step 12: Download Exam Form Copy

  • Go to “Application Print” section
  • Download your Exam Form PDF
  • Save it or take a printout for future reference

Step 13: What If the Form Is Incomplete?

  • If the form shows incomplete or pending, go to:
    • Submit Pending Form section
    • Reopen the form and complete missing steps
    • Submit again

Step 14: Done! Just Focus on Preparation Now

  • Once submitted successfully, relax!
  • Admit Card and further process will be updated by ICAI later
  • Stay connected to official updates
